Managing Director & Executive Partner Abingworth
Tim has more than 40 years of international management experience in the life sciences industry in both public and private companies. He joined Abingworth in 2005 as a Partner before becoming Chairman and Managing Partner, taking Chair and board roles at companies including Astex, GammaDelta Therapeutics, MEDIAN Technologies and Venatorx. Prior to Abingworth, he was CEO of Astex Therapeutics, helping establish it as a leading UK biotechnology company, and CEO of two divisions of Datascope Corp. He also held senior management positions in the US and Europe, including CEO of Thackray Inc and General Manager Baxter UK. Tim holds a BSc from Exeter University and an MBA from INSEAD.
