Samik Basu
Chief Scientific Officer Cabaletta Bio
Dr. Basu is Chief Scientific Officer at Cabaletta, where he oversees all discovery, preclinical, computational biology, and translational medicine research. He joined Cabaletta in December 2019 and was most recently Vice President of Preclinical Research and Translational Medicine. Prior to Cabaletta, Dr. Basu was Head of Translational Sciences (Medicine) at Adaptimmune Therapeutics, where he led research focused on mechanisms of resistance and response to TCR-based adoptive immunotherapies. He previously co-led preclinical development efforts for Keytruda at Merck Research Laboratories. Dr. Basu is a physician-scientist with 20 years of industry and academic experience and received his M.D. from Temple University.
