Gilles Divita

Chief Scientific Officer Aanastra

Dr. Gilles Divita is Co-founder and CEO of DivinCell SAS and Chief Scientist at Aanastra, pioneering peptide-based RNA delivery technologies for cancer and genetic diseases. He has over 25 years of expertise in drug delivery, peptide therapeutics and oligonucleotide delivery, and pioneered non-covalent cell-penetrating peptide strategies for therapeutic delivery. Dr. Divita has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications and 25 patents. He previously served as Research Director at CNRS, leading Chemical Biology and Nanotechnology research. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry/Biophysics from the University of Lyon.

Seminars

Tuesday 9th February 2027
Tailoring In Vivo Delivery Strategies for Autoimmune Disease Immunobiology
3:45 pm
  • Evaluating how viral vectors, lipid nanoparticles and other delivery platforms interact with hyperactive innate and adaptive immune systems to minimise unwanted inflammatory responses
  • Exploring how cytokine release, macrophage activation and dendritic cell responses differ across lupus, systemic sclerosis, myositis and other autoimmune indications to address disease-specific safety considerations
  • Moving beyond a one-size-fits-all approach to develop indication-specific delivery and dosing strategies to improve therapeutic activity while reducing toxicity risks

Panel Discussion: Intelligently Pairing Vectors, Payloads & Engineering Technologies for In Vivo Cell Therapy Success
12:15 pm
  • Comparing viral and non-viral delivery approaches to understand how vector selection impacts safety, efficacy and cell-specific targeting
  • Exploring advances in vector technology to successfully deliver DNA, mRNA and cRNA to unluck more durable expression with decreased therapeutic doses
  • Developing scientifically guided frameworks to match delivery platforms, genetic cargo and tumour biology to accelerate translation to the clinic
