Cécile Bauche is Founder & CSO of Alaya.bio, providing scientific leadership across discovery, preclinical and early clinical programs focused on in vivo gene delivery, lentiviral and nanoparticle-based technologies, innovative immunotherapies, and CAR-T cell therapies. She has led the development of advanced in vivo CAR-T and gene delivery platforms, managed interactions with EMA, FDA, ANSM, and AFMPS, and overseen bioproduction, cGMP manufacturing, clinical strategy, intellectual property, and business development. A seasoned biotech leader and entrepreneur, she has brought innovative therapeutic candidates from bench to clinic while building extensive patent portfolios and supporting fundraising and strategic partnerships.
